chapter 3 replay!!!

HI GUYS GUESS WHAT. i have successfully finished replaying chapter 3 of deltarune!!! one of my very favorites!!! huzzah! as of today i finished it a few days ago, though, and i'm only writing this blog entry now. i don't know how long it'll be but i will surely be talking a lot about this chapter heeeheeee :))

MR. ANT TENNA OH MY GDO

GUYS I LOVE TENNA SO MUCH HE'S MY FAVORITE AND AND I REMEMEBER when replaying the chapter for the first time i was so anticipated for him to come up on screen i was actually shaking it was so bad ha ha ok i was very happy to see him clearly :DDD njsigonjiesornjnsfesmjg (after a while i started feeling physically nauseous from the emotions so i had to calm myself down)

i love him so much and this sprite of him is so silly. he's :3 in this and look at the way he fixes his tie he's such a guy

ok so for this replay i named myself (or rather Kris) buh i think i was like ass or something on my first playthrough idk but anyway FIRST BOARD!

FIRST BOARD

the first board of the legend of tenna minigame was the sandy board and i want to say i love how this was implemented in the game; the minigame is nostalgic because as a kid i grew up playing games similar to the style of it and the mechanics of it are so fun to use too

interesting description but ok i love shadowguys. these guys are i think my favorite NPCs so far they're actually so awesome and bring a smile to my face every time i even own official merchandise of them,,,

shadowguys are so me i feel like yeah i want to draw them more

HAHAHAHA i love the quizzes so much and deciding to choose options i found interesting instead of ones that were correct to see the reactions was such a good decision i can't with this it's so amusing for me (also the heading should have been that)

speaking of quizzes...

I LOVE THESE GUYS!!!!!! SO MUCH!!! it's kind of a shame they only show up in the legend of tenna minigames... i call them quizlings because i don't think they have an official name ;_; this is exactly what a quiz would look like

i LOVE sphinx tenna too so much i love this knowing critter!

SECOND BOARD

i had so much fun with this one too! not as many screenshots but it's whatever lol

oh my god Tenna awwww

don't. get me started. on rule card. he's such a guy i don't even have words on..

oh wait look my little lancer is there!!! i loved it when he'd dig in the games and the music that would play!

ok enough with the legend of tenna minigame...LIGHTNERS LIVE!!! my favorite! despite sucking at rhythm games in general i was doing pretty good on that one i think and i enjoyed it so much...the trio's outfits are so swag i love kris's outfit especially - i like the detail of them having the guitar, the inside of their shirt resembling a piano (that's what it reminds me of at least), and their heels - also susie on the drums i love you susie. always keep being susie. i remember being excited for the rock star minigame before the release of the chapter

and the song is so fire too holy shittttt i love all this so much EEEEEEEEEEEEEE

OH I PLAYED SUSIEZILLA TOO i didn't on my first playthrough because i didn't know of it haha look at that sprite of her. oh my goooodd look at her aww (i did not complete the minigame it was too hard...but i had so much fun regardless :P) ok susie is definitely my 2nd favorite btw

TV WORLD!!!

one of my favorite aspects of this chapter has to be TV world and i don't even know exactly what it is about it but i can point out a few things! i love this interpretation of a TV world making you feel like you're really the TV star as you walk through it on the red carpets, and with how many TV screens and posters showcasing tenna's face are plastered everywhere, making it known it really is his world he has in his hands, and the color scheme is very pleasing to look at for me

also all the silly details like my favorite have to be the mini gold tennalings that follow you around when you walk by them,, and the confetti floors, it's such a funky world. i don't see many people in the fandom talk about the environment of deltarune, i think i really appreciate it and find each location endearing!

SECRET SPAMTENNA PIPIS CUTSCENE

OK SO THERE WAS A WHOLE THING THAT I MENTIONED IN MY PREVIOUS BLOG POST. if you actually read all of my blog posts (which if you do ily) you'd know i was procrastinating on finishing my chapter 3 replay because... my DEALMAKER item from the spamton NEO's fight from the second chapter was gone for some reason. it was in my chapter 2 file, but not in my chapter 3 file??? and i did not want to have to replay the entire chapter over again because i already was so far in the game... and i had no clue how to fix that issue, but then, i have found out about spamton save editor, which allows you to edit your deltarune save files, and i was able to modify the dealmaker item back into my equipment slot! i know you need either this item or the puppet scarf if you've fought spamton NEO in order to unlock the cutscene and have spamton and tenna interact together ehehehhe giggling

i was so happy...i finally have accessed it...secret spamtenna pipis cutscene my beloved

TENNA FIGHT!!! and the roaring knight too i guess

(tenna i see you referencing that mailman) heh guys not to flex but i can beat tenna in only one try and under 3 minutes eh eh i'm so smart/j

i have to admit his fight is one of the most fun fights from both deltarune and undertale which now that i think of it makes sense that he wants to put on the most fun for his last show...:'(( tenna i miss you already i love you tenna

you know i did want to stay for the roaring knight fight after this one, as it is an optional boss fight that i skipped through on my first playthrough, but first of all, i had just beaten the SECRET BOSS...mr. ant tenna, and now another boss fight right after 2 fights i was kind of tired XD and not to mention their fight is so hard even though i had the shadow mantle equipped

EEEEEEEEEE MY FAVORITE SPRITE OF HIS I THINK...LOOKATHIMMM why are you so silly tenna aww the aww (he's getting his arms cut off in minutes)

OH WAIT IN THAT SCENE CAN I JUST MENTION HOW REAL SUSIE IS??? when she tells her backstory for a bit to tenna to relate to him. i went through a similar thing ohhh that scene made me emphasize with susie even more HDFSGBSGNJG i love susie

SECRET BOSS...

ok so i am not going to write much more, as this is very likely my longest blog entry yet, and i still feel like i haven't talked enough. i want to point out tenna's character and the role of this chapter in the game and to kris in general sometime too, but i feel like this isn't really the place for it as i'd be writing too much and i want to keep these chapter replay posts not too lenghty but rather an overview of my playthrough, you know??? so speaking of which, i need to mention that i have also done the SWORD ROUTE in this chapter!!! but for that i am deciding to write a separate blog entry for, as i will be talking lenghtily about it (oh and that is where the secret boss took place too by the way)

this is why!!! i'll just say that, this chapter really changed my thoughts on the game (and on tenna SPECIFICALLY.) when i first played it and i was so excited to play through it again. and to see tenna. i love tenna dearly. ^D ok goodnight
